Decaffeinated coffee is not as bad as it sounds!
I’ m a self confessed coffee addict but to be honest, it’s played havoc with my sleeping (or lack of it) over the past couple of years. Despite that, I enjoy coffee so much that I can’t, I mean I don’t want to, give it up or cut down. A friend of mine suggested I try switching to decaffeinated coffee but I found I couldn’t stomach the stuff. After doing a little research on the web, I discovered that there are some great tasting decaffeinated blends and it’s just a case of finding the right one. I’m now happily converted to a decaffeinated coffee of my choice and sleeping is back to normal.
What about you? How many cups of coffee do you drink each day? Are you a "one cup in the morning" kind of guy, or do you call it quits after about six? You see, when it comes to hot java, people across the globe simply can't seem to get enough. What am I talking about? This is with any temperature of coffee. Whether it's hot, over ice, or blended like a smoothie, folks can't acquire enough of the caffeinated stuff. Now, the problem here resides in the caffeine itself.
You see, caffeine is really not that great for your body. In fact, it pulls the water off of your muscles and brain. That's no good. So maybe it's time you tried decaffeinated coffee, and see how your day goes. You might be rather surprised.
Do you like decaffeinated coffee? The reason I ask is because so many individuals claim they don't, but they've actually never even tried it before. That's pretty bogus if I do say so myself. In reality, decaffeinated coffee tastes pretty much the same as the real deal. I should know; I tried it. It's all about getting the right kind of java. A great deal lies in the coffee beans. If you're drinking freshly roasted, newly ground coffee beans, then all is good. A fine cup of decaffeinated coffee will knock your socks off.
I couldn't help but laugh at my grandfather one day when my father slipped him some decaffeinated coffee, as opposed to his usual cup of Joe. Then my father proceeded in talking to him about decaffeinated coffee as an alternative to the regular stuff. Of course my grandfather claimed that he would never drink it and how it tastes horrible. All the while he was happily sipping on a cup of decaffeinated coffee. Then my father finally snickered and dropped the bomb on him. When he found out he was actually drinking decaffeinated coffee, he was speechless.
Are you enjoying that morning cup of java right now? You may want to consider the decaffeinated coffee alternative for health reasons. Not only is caffeine hard on your body, but it's also associated with Alzheimer's. This is a mind-degrading illness that can sneak up on some of us as we reach a certain age. The negative effects of caffeine can increase your chances of being afflicted with this heart-breaking illness. Try a cup of decaffeinated coffee today. Your body and mind will thank you.
Finally, if tea is your tipple, remember that it too contains caffeine and should only be drunk in moderation. Don’t worry though, as decaffeinated tea is also available and even decaffeinated green tea has hit the high street shelves. Welcome to the world of healthier teas and coffees
